VK mini-app “Parent University”

Group of companies Enlightenment is a specialized publisher of educational and pedagogical literature that goes far beyond the traditional publishing business.
The company not only publishes textbooks, but also equips classrooms, creates innovative training programs, and participates in the organization and restoration of children's camps.

Context

The Parents University project came up with the idea to create a new and more functional tool for communication with parents in VK, where the company already maintained its own page with more than 200 thousand subscribers.

Task

To develop a VK mini-app to support the new educational project "Parent University"

Solution

As part of the VK app, functionality has been implemented:
Parent's Diary - the diary allows you to record and capture all the main moments of the day
Knowledge Library - a collection of useful educational materials for parents

Also, in order to maintain the morale of parents, together with "THIS SIGN", supporting phrases were compiled, which were awarded to parents every day when logging into the application, as well as when adding a new entry to the diary.

To increase user engagement in interaction with the app, a system of automatic push notifications was also set up.

And to attract organic traffic, the app was also placed in VK's mini-app catalog
